Biography: Born into a large family, Shanna first started acting in high school, performing with the school's theatre group. After graduating, she went on to college and earned a degree in accounting, then worked for her father as an electrician.
In 1982, Shanna spotted an advertisement in a local paper for porn performers. Her first wave of films was from 1982 to 1989, at which time she announced her retirement. But like many in the adult business, she has come back frequently, beginning in 1991 and continuing through 2006.
She often plays the older woman roles, seducing the younger man, or woman. She is best known for her lesbian and oral performances, and often does anal or interracial scenes. She often plays a dominating role with other women.
Shanna married porn director Jim Enright in early November of 2001.
